These magnets are often referred to as Pain Relief Magnets and are high grade industrial magnets and offer a flux density up to 3,500 Gauss on the surface.

The disc should be positioned over the site of the pain and held in a position with a piece of surgical tape.

Each disc has a dimple on one side that indicates the North pole of the magnet and this should be pointed towards the body. The North pole face is sometimes also called the positive face in magnet therapy texts.

The magnets are gold plated to prevent any irritation to the skin (gold is chemically inert and does not react making it suitable for medical use).
