For an in depth and more technical generator design that can be used for education purposes and also for personal use, the 50 page “A Design for a Generator” is required. It is a valuable combined design guide, technical support document and reference booklet - it will teach you how a permanent magnet generator works and how to make and improve your own version. You do not need to have prior knowledge of magnets or generators to be able to clearly follow the document but it will allow you to eventually make a generator capable of charging batteries and powering electrical devices. It has been written by our Technical Sales Manager who has a PhD in the design of machines that use permanent magnets. The pdf file size is 6.85 MB (7,190,528 bytes) – we recommend it is bought on cd if you are unsure how big a file your email system can handle.
