The Surface Protecting Slide Resist Clamp Magnet (SPSR Clamp Magnet) is a magnetic clamping assembly with a soft polyurethane coating designed to protect surfaces and to resist sliding on those surfaces.

The Surface Protecting Slide Resist Clamp Magnet requires twice the direct pull force to start to slide along the surface (i.e. it has a shear force twice that of the direct pull force). It is used in applications where sliding along the surface (particularly vertical surfaces) is undesirable. The soft polyurethane coating is also non-abrasive eliminating the scratching of the surface to which it is placed (assuming all surfaces are clean). The SPSR Clamp Magnet has superb anti-slip / anti-slide and anti-scratch properties.

The Surface Protecting Slide Resist Clamp Magnet (SPSR Clamp Magnet) has two versions of a zinc coated backing plates:- one with 4mm diameter screw holes; the other with M5 or M6 stud mountings.

Typical uses of the SPSR Clamp Magnet include lighting systems, magnetic brackets, car roof signs (e.g. taxi signs), antenna clamp systems, vehicle tracking units, temporary signage, attaching to boards and pictures to metal partitions, door clamps, etc.
