Magnetic rods are used to remove ferrous contamination from free flowing dry materials such as suger,tea,plastic granulate and chemicals.The rods are extremely magnetic, which capture ferrous contamination and then hold it on their undersides away from the product flow,where it can be wiped away during routine cleaning.
The rods are manufactured to the highest possible standards using food quality stainless steel which is welded and polished to provide strength and longetivity.
The magnetic bars are stainless steel tubes containing high energy rare earth magnets to give a flux density of 10,000 Gauss on the surface.The bars are pitched to give optimum straining effect and yet allow the product to flow through without bridging.
