An Introduction to Complete Magnetic Sweeper

Combining the best attributes of the Fork Lift Truck Magnetic Sweeper and the Towable Magnetic Sweeper / Industrial Handheld Sweeper, the Complete Magnetic Sweeper can be used for all three purposes. It is the Universal Sweeper plus all the accessories.

The Complete Magnetic Sweeper has 150mm diameter solid elastic rubber wheels at the ends for travelling on surfaces, has threaded bars on the top to allow connection to either the hand held handle bar or the tow bar with hitch. It also has brackets with eyebolts for connecting onto the tines of a fork lift truck or connection via rope or chain onto other vehicles or gantry cranes, etc.

The Complete Magnetic Sweeper is approximately 1.44m across and the active base is approximately 44mm above the surface to be swept (the actual height may vary from front to back depending on the height of the tow bar). This sweep height can be raised or lowered by around 20mm upon request. It exists in two standard forms. The F2 version is two magnets deep and is suitable for all general use. The F3 version is three magnets deep (50% more magnet material) and is used for maximum performance.

The Complete Magnetic Sweeper is delivered as a complete package:- the main Magnetic Sweeper unit, the handle system to use as a move-by-hand unit, the handle system to connect to a tow bar and the Collection Bucket. We can convert the tow bar system to fit other fittings if required (e.g. hole only or eye bolt for allowing pin connection to back of fork lift trucks). Please note that the wheels would need taking off when using the collection bucket.

If a special sized Complete Magnetic Sweeper is required (taller for more magnetic performance or wider for a bigger sweep area per drive past), please ask us to provide a quotation.
