An Introduction to Industrial Hand Held Magnetic Sweeper

The Industrial Hand Held Sweeper is an adaption of the Fork Lift Truck Magnetic Sweeper.

The Industrial Hand Held Sweeper is around 1.44m wide. The active magnetic base width is 1.25m. The 150mm diameter elastic rubber wheels are on a cast iron centre. The Industrial Hand Held Sweeper sweeps 44mm above the surface of the floor (this can be raised or lowered upon request by up to 20mm).
The handle of the shaft connecting to the main magnetic base is approximately 750mm off the ground and about 750mm away from the magnetic base, allowing ease of holding whilst walking.

The Industrial Hand Held Magnetic Sweeper easily picks up ferrous materials. Tramp metal, swarf, bolts, mild steel shards, scrap iron, nuts, nails, iron filings, screws and nails can all be picked up. Wiping the protective stainless steel casing with a cloth will clean the surface of the sweeper (a wooden or plastic scraper or spatula could also be used). To access the underside, simply tilt the device towards the handle and the magnetic sweeper rests against the lower section of the handle.

To convert from an Industrial Hand Held Magnetic Sweeper system to a towable unit (to give the Towable Magnetic Sweeper) the tow hitch handle section is available separately.
